” I STILL REMEMBER THE DAYS I PRAYED FOR THE THINGS I HAVE NOW!”
It’s a beautiful thing perspective and hindsight. If only we’d remind ourselves that what is coming, will come and what has past, has been and it’s okay to just enjoy living your days. Each and every one of them. The good, the bad and the ugly.
I remember dreaming of the day I would have a car, now I do, or the day I’d move out of home, that is done. Or when I’d fly a plane, completed, or get to visit Paris, and yes, she’s beautiful! Or maybe the day I’d get chickens, done! Or the moment I’d get the opportunity (and courage) to get up and talk in front of people and share my heart (and I love and loved it), or get to work somewhere so beautiful with such great people and love my job (lucky me), or actually complete and graduate from my Bachelor degree (had plenty of moments where that felt like a giant hill too hard to climb). Those are the moments when you stop and think, “Wow! I actually remember day dreaming about this moment and imagining what it would be like and now I’ve actually done it!”.
They’re like little treasures that you don’t want to take for granted. They make life fun and challenging and exciting.
I think this is why it’s good to write your goals and dreams down somewhere because one day you’ll look back and see, wow I’ve done most or all of them and now I need to keep dreaming.
I still have a few big ones of my list . . . But that is exciting! I think there should always be big (and little) goals and dreams you are aiming for!

Hope! An encouraging reminder to keep having hope, even when things don’t seem like they’re working out, and being grateful for all that we DO have or have achieved! Good Saturday morning read. x
